Round 1:

1. Incredibles ii v Spiderverse: The original Incredibles might be one of my favorite movies but Spiderverse slaps and it slaps hard.

2. Breaking the Waves v Paris, Texas: 2 words Sam Shepard.

3. The Rider v Lean on Pete: Crying at 3:30 am about the Rider prevails over the trauma I still have from publicly crying on an airplane during Lean on Pete.

4. Blackkklansman v Sorry to Bother You: I liked them both but had to go with the one that didn't feature magic horse coke.

5. Calibre v Affliction: My current crush on Jack Lowden overrides my former crush on Nick Nolte.

6. Amelie v I Love You, Phillip Morris: Or, delightfully stereotypical french film v one of Jim Carrey's best roles. You decide

7. Black Panther v Infinity War: Do I usually hate marvel movies, yes. Did I hate Black Panther, nope.

8. We the Animals v Boy Erased: I made a special trip home to go see We the Animals so that's how you know it's good.

9. Monsters & Men v Blindspotting: I still don't know where the love for M&M went.

10. Mid90's v Hearts beat Loud: I thought I would hate Mid90's and I didn't.

11. Widows v Game Night: Honestly I really liked both, but Viola Davis anddd Colin Farrell is a big plus.

12. The Favourite v Thelma and Louise: I really only watched T&L for Brad and Geena, and i watched the Favourite for everything else. Viva La Olivia Colman.

13. First Reformed v 4 Lions: I'm still confused as to what I saw in First Reformed but I'm down with whatever the hell it was.

14. The Hunt v The Conversation: I'm kind of into Gene Hackman, end of story.

15. Beale Street v Ben is Back: This honestly came down to the annoying ass family in front of me during Ben is Back and also my eternal love for Barry Jenkins.

16. Mamma Mia 2 v Mary Poppins 2: How could Mama Mia be soooo shitty yet also the greatest thing ever?

Round 2:

That's It. Pretty uneventful if I do say so myself.

Also, I'd like to include an honorable mention of Godfather ii. Not because it wasn't as good as the other movies, I just forgot about it and don't care enough to make another bracket.
